Why do I need to trim my wick?

+ Safety! If your flame gets too high, your candle can burn too hot. This can cause your glass jar to overheat and crack, or even explode. Trim that wick!

How often should I trim my wick?

+ After you've lit your candle for the first time, you should trim your wick to approximately 1/4" before EACH BURN. So after your initial light, you should trim that wick every single time you light your candle.
